Strategic Context & Rationale

The Defining Decade for Global Sustainability & ESG Integration

The global sustainability agenda has entered a defining decade, where accelerating climate change, geopolitical uncertainty, digital transformation, resource constraints, and evolving stakeholder expectations are fundamentally reshaping the role of businesses, governments, and civil society. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles have consequently evolved beyond voluntary commitments to become strategic drivers of resilience, responsible innovation, sustainable competitiveness, and long-term value creation.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Paris Climate Agreement, and emerging international ESG reporting and sustainability disclosure frameworks, the 10th International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development (CSR2027) provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for advancing research, policy dialogue, and practical solutions that address today's complex sustainability challenges.

Building upon the success of its previous editions, CSR2027 will be held during June 7–8, 2027 at Tashkent State University of Economics, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The conference will bring together distinguished academicians, researchers, policymakers, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, development agencies, NGOs, and sustainability professionals from around the world to exchange ideas, present cutting-edge research, and develop collaborative solutions for sustainable development.

Hosting CSR2027 in Central Asia provides a unique opportunity to explore sustainability from the perspective of rapidly transforming economies that are embracing economic diversification, green growth, digital innovation, responsible governance, and regional cooperation. The conference encourages interdisciplinary research that integrates ESG principles into business strategy, public policy, technological innovation, financial systems, and stakeholder engagement while addressing both global priorities and regional development needs.

With increasing regulatory expectations, investor focus on ESG performance, and growing societal demand for transparency and accountability, CSR2027 emphasizes evidence-based research, responsible leadership, climate resilience, sustainable finance, ethical governance, social inclusion, and innovation-driven sustainability. By fostering meaningful dialogue between academia, industry, and policymakers, the conference seeks to generate impactful knowledge and actionable solutions that contribute to a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable global future.

Beyond academic excellence, CSR2027 is designed as a strategic engagement platform for industry leaders seeking practical, evidence-based solutions to today's sustainability challenges. The conference recognizes that organizations are increasingly expected to integrate ESG principles into corporate strategy, supply chain management, innovation, finance, risk management, human capital development, and stakeholder engagement. By bringing together business executives, policymakers, investors, researchers, and sustainability professionals, CSR2027 aims to bridge the gap between academic research and corporate practice, enabling organizations to transform sustainability commitments into measurable business outcomes.
